What made you get into fanfiction?

I've been in my entire life at my pre-teen/teen days reading fanfictions on wattpad until one day i decided to write my own, but i ended up feeling cringe af and felt the urge to delete and never post publicly again πŸ’€ and in nowdays since i grew up here i am being the happiest person writing my own content including ships even if it's with any fandom content, cringe but free lol
