My least favourite character hm….I am very sad to confess it is mikasa. Listen HEAR ME OUT BEFORE YOU COME FOR MY THROAT, I adore the version of her I have in my head, the strong badass female character who is just deeply traumatised and very caring on the inside. The main reason I dislike her (more like I fucking hate yams for ruining her) is that she had so much potential and such a beautiful character that was supposed to touched upon delicately and carefully. Yet instead we get a girl who can’t tell the words platonic from romantic apart, based her entire life and strength around the doomed boy who saved her, took a tiny piss of a try (in the ending with zero foreshadowing jesus) at giving her a royal, important past. I’m sorry but this is just poor writing and I find it offensive to all my girl that we are continued to be cursed with pathetic female characters with lost potential I HATE it. So yeah. I hate canon mikasa the most although I loved her so much throughout the beginning of s1 but then :/ the real mikasa is the one that lives rent free in my head and she’s a lesbain (or aro/ace) badass to me and I stand by that. Amen.
