We welcome any and all ideas! Pitches are entirely optional if you have any burning pitches but they will not affect your application.

Hey! Pitch ideas are not a requirement nor will they influence your application, they’re just a chance for us to see your ideas if you have any. You will be able to pitch different ideas if you’re accepted!

Hey! The artist portfolio should consist of 3-5 pieces that best showcase your style. You don't have to include anything besides your work! There is also the option to include an additional portfolio, such as a Twitter media feed or a larger Google Drive Portfolio. hello! i am interested in applying as both sfw and nsfw writer. in order to present the best samples for each, can i put in one app for each, or do i have to submit to both in one? thanks!
Hello! Thanks for asking. You will fill out the same app form for both, but you’re welcome to include two folders within your google file if you want - one for SFW and one for NSFW. Please make sure that each side fulfils the zine app requirements of being no more than 6,000 words each. You also have the opportunity to include a bigger portfolio, such as an AO3 link or another google folder.

Can I be anonymous if I don’t have a social media where I post my writing/art?
Hi there! As long as you have a discord or are willing to create one, you can absolutely create for the zine under a pseudonym. This is because we use discord for all zine communications.
If you’re referring to the application form, you can just list whichever social media you use most frequently, even if it’s not one for writing/art/fandom. Thank you!

hello! i was wondering what kind example merchandise are you pertaining to? i'ce worked to digital merches before so i'm not sure how to show that 😢 would a photo suffice?
Hello! Any example of merchandise would suffice, be it digital or physical merch. A photo, PDF or any kind of viewable image in a google folder works! As long as we can see what your merch style is.

For contributors application, if i apply on last day, will it affect my acceptance rate bcs i'm the last one to fill the form? Or is it going to be judged purely from the portfolio (no matter the time when i fill the form)?
The time an application is submitted will not affect your acceptance rate. We look forward to seeing your application, regardless of the time it's sent!

hi, i looked at the mod intros and noticed that mod beatrice has many different zines listed as experience, but most of them are in interest check/creation phase still. this seems misleading. have they handled shipping and finances for any completed zines? it’s a concern especially for the roles handling money and the zine products.
Hi there! Thank you for your concern. Our Finance and Shipping mod has experience working on ongoing zines, but they have also managed funds and products irl, both for local committees as well as in their workplace. The whole team has their personal information as well. Thank you!

For Merch artist and the “example of a merchandise”, does it have to be a photo of a physical merch (keychain, standee, etc)? What if I only have the digital file of what the merch looks like?
