hello! sorry for the super late response, i was on an unplanned hiatus due to busy life schedules.

but the co-writing process was really enjoyable for me and a great first experience. thank you to my paired co-writing partner @sundwei for being an amazing person to work with <3 we started with an outline draft on docs and decided from there that we would reserve one doc for all outlining and create a second doc for the actual fic. i made the proposition that we write in different font colors to make it easier to see when one person was able to write something + to make it easier to see where one person left off/where you should pick up from.
my co-writing partner and i were both very busy with college and personal life, but we communicated through twitter dms about the fic throughout the writing process and kept each other posted about when we were able to write a section + getting each other’s thoughts as we went along.

it was overall a great experience! i wish i wasn’t so busy around the middle/end portion of our writing, but i managed to finish up and was very satisfied with the outcome.

the fest we participated in paired us with someone to beta for our fic as well so that made things easier on us since we had someone to read over the final product and give advice on adjustments to make. thank you to @corsairiers for being our fic beta!

i would definitely be open to co-writing with more authors after this experience <3
