can writers have their work beta-d by people not participating in the event? for example someone who is your beta but doesn’t otherwise read OP fan works
Hi, yes of course! As a writer you are not required to be paired up with a beta during this event.
If you have a beta that you are already comfortable working with outside of the event, you are absolutely allowed to have them beta your piece! All we ask is that your piece is kept secret through the event (no posting of wips outside the server, etc.) until posting week, so just make sure your beta is sworn to secrecy!! (:
