Hi! I saw that you’ve sent out all emails, what should be done if one wasn’t received?
If you didnt receive an email, first check your spam box, we've been told quite a few emails are going to spam.

Hello! If we applied for the zine, when would be know if we were accepted?
Applications will close on June 3rd, after that the mod team will go through all of the applications and send both acceptance and rejection emails on the 4th! Make sure you keep an eye on your spam folder too just in case!

Will spoilers for the Japanese server be included? Also how many pieces should be in any artist role portfolio? Thank you!
It is a possibility, it all depends on what the contributors decide their topics will be, but the mod team wont be limiting them to whats been released on the EN servers. We can definitely leave a warning under the download if, in the end, it does include JP server spoilers though!
For artists, I'd like to say show us at least 3 of your best pieces minimum so we can get a good feel for what youre capable of!

I was thinking of applying as an illustrator but I don't know if the artwork I have to submit as it should be detailed or can be a simple style?
You're welcome to draw in whatever style you like as long as youre having fun! I like to think of the zine like a sort of gallery to present your work, so do something youre proud of and wanna show off! We wont even be critiquing your art unless you explicitly ask or post it to the critique chat. (And for writers if you dont want us to beta your work thats also an option, its more of a perk we're providing than a requirement)

is this for profit or for free? maybe you should make a carrd with info and a timeline, the basics most zines do

For writers, it says that they need to write 1-3 pieces from 1.5k - 5k words. Does that mean each fic can be 1.5k - 5k or when you write 3 fics, the total word count will be 1.5k - 5k?
Each fic can be 1.5k-5k words. If you go a little above or a little below that is also fine, just dont go too crazy for the sake of our writing mods

Do you have a preferred format for the portfolio for writers? Number of samples, method for providing samples, word count?
An Ao3 link to your works would be preferable but if that isnt possible youre welcome to send a publicly accessible google drive link including at least 2 examples of your work. 1500+ words per example would be ideal

I saw that both this project and the Octavinelle Trio zine is run by the same person. If we apply to both zines, may we use the same application/samples?

Yes! you may use the same samples/portfolio for both zines
but unfortunately you will have to submit separate applications.
I do apologize for any inconvenience that causes, but it will make sorting though applicants later down the line much faster.
