oh! yea! he's a demon dullaha, he used to be a knight but ended up corrupting and committing crimes, when he died his guilt and his safistic nature separated into two minds, the headless without flame has a knighly honorable personality, and the head with flames + teeth is sadistic and cruel.
the pumpkin one is just a container of his powers, it happend to develop its own personality tho and now just happens to be the main personality that they appear with

So splatoon huh… so why do you like shiver and Frye? What’s the appeal?
idk! splatoons style and aesthetic has appealed to me since i first saw it and i was but a wee lad... the oceanic swagger is unmatched, and shiver and frye r truly peak designs to me. i think frye is the prettiest splatoon design and shiver is fun to draw, well they both are!
