Say someone you liked a lot, responded to your advances and such, and were good friends with, deleted their Twitter and blocked you everywhere else.
How would yo go about dealing with the mutual friends? Would you try to call them out?
What would you do if you had a crush on their roommate?

This is a really hard question to answer.
I think I would ask their friends if everything is alright. Maybe it's a misunderstanding and you can clear up the situation.
I wouldn't just call them out and say "Hey, look at this horrible person!". I would try to understand the situation better and think about if it's really necessary to call that person out or if it is just a private problem between us two.
And to the crush thing:
I had a crush on many people but never had the courage to talk to them about it. I am not sure if I am the right person to ask.
Maybe I should test the waters with the their roommate, looking if the person might also feel close to me.
