Have u ever consider the thought that perhaps Aesop is the first person who didnt abandon Victor? He followed the same path he took... in a certain manner.
Yes I think about it daily… Aesop also was the first person to even see Victor as a person of his own? All his life he was merely a tool for others, whereas Aesop was showing such genuine interest, respect and admiration for him, and then choosing to follow his path even after his death. When Aesop’s 4th letter came out, people were saying how OOC it was that Aesop chose death over continuing his.. idk killing mission? But I think a lot of people forget how he’s actually a very lonely and fragile person that has already lost two of the people he felt close to (Y.R. and Jerry in some sort of way), and he would just… not get over the same thing happening for the third time in his life? I think it’s a very logical outcome for him. Yes both Victor and Aesop didn’t have enough of a character development in the manor game, but… I think that’s how it had to be. Their stories were about them finding each other.

it's the sngrck anon again and omg yes you're actually right !!! i would say frederick has kind of a calming and serene aura about him i guess? also he's said to be very soft-spoken and in his character trailer in the beginning he kinda sorta performs sound therapy with his tuning fork (this actually being a real life therapy method btw) which both helps him and the others to straighten out their thoughts and keep on an even keel (as music for frederick is actually the only thing that can ever soothe him with his uhh anxiety disorder/ocd i guess?) !! i'm now thinking of a really cute scene where fred does that for sangria while she lies in his lap or something

How do you feel about trans masculine Sangria? If you weren't aware, her design is based heavily upon the "male" actors in Takarazuka theatre troupes, aka crossdressing women who take on the roles of men in the stories. And also, how do you feel about the theory that Florian was in the game with her, Antonio, Andrew and the Will Brothers? It seems that, if he was, he likely lead Sangria to her death (this could be wrong, was reading while very tired haha)... But I'd love to hear your thoughts! I saw that you said you liked sangrialva, I was curious if you had any further thoughts on her since she is so rarely talked about and I do love the idea of her being some sort of trans masculine as I feel there are good grounds for it in canon wrt her design choices and her first A tier being more like men's garbs
I love it!!! It’s one of my top favorite headcanons, I think a friend introduced me to it and it changed my whole world. I always refer to Sangria by he/she when I’m with my close friends hehe. I think yes, there are good grounds for the hc, both the design and the story I think? I do have a lot of thoughts about Sangria, but I don’t know where to start uee… But she is one of my biggest favs! I rarely get into hunters for some reason, but I looovee her very much. I have some wips with Sangria, bur I’m still figuring the way I want to draw her, so when I get it figured out, get ready for Sangria fanart wave hehehe.
Tbh it’s the first time I’m hearing about the theory about Florian being in her manor game! I don’t know how I feel about it rn, a bit sceptical for sure, but I will have to go through the letters again with this thought in mind so I can form better opinion on the theory… Thank you for introducing me to it though!

Sorry to come back but also, I wanted to know if you had any thoughts on Matthias? I do like him being trans masc as well, but equally I can see transfem and his hatred of Louis tying into this (being the boy he never could, or being a reminder of the boy he was). I think Matthias/Anne is very cute & Orpheus/Matthias is almost Mephistopheles/Faust-like in a fun way but I'm so eagerly awaiting any hint of him in any canonical game. I really want to know who he was in there with
I love Matthias so bad 😭 I was so excited when they announced him.. His design feels like a breath of fresh air and gameplay wise he’s very fun and strong I think? I also get very happy when idv releases slavic characters they’re always the best ones out there 🙏🙏 Regarding hcs I’ve always myself been a transfem matthi believer.. The thing about Louis being the boy Matthias’ parents always wanted him to be really hit me very hard when I was reading his backstory, but I do sometimes think about tmasc Matthias as well. I like MatthiAnnie but I love MatthiAnnieCharles even more…. @_@ AND ORPHMATTHI i’ve been orphmatthi truther since very beginning… You’re right about them having Mephistopheles/Faust dynamic 😭😭 They’re very funny.. I’ve drawn them a couple of times but I dont know if I’d feel comfortable enough sharing my art of them publicly.
Honestly if I’m being very serious, unless they put either Matthi or Florian to an already existing manor game, I think they will put them in a game together? As I think their contrasting backstories and traumas can lead to interesting conflicts and results? I know there’s a theory about him being in Aesop-Victor-Annie game instead of Ganji, but I don’t think it makes much sense? Either way, I’m very interested to see what they come up with him.

I genuinely don’t know how to explain my art process, sorry 😭 Just be more free in your art if it makes sense? Stop worrying about messing up proportions or whatever because if you’ve only ever drawn skinny people you WILL measure your proportions in art by their measurments?? Just… feel free……..

I know that Florian probably cringes at the idea of showing vulnerability given the false heroic image he built for himself but idk I think it's kind of tender when Matthias manages to get the bandages off his face and gently touch over the scarred area because they both are so mangled from their own respective traumas and they both cope with it differently but I think Matthias, in his own odd way, can get Florian to be a bit more willing to show vulnerability like that. Matthias wears his scars out in the open, Florian hides his away. And in a way I think Florian would see Matthias as braver than him for it. Idk I'm kind of just rambling jumbled thoughts, sorry!
