Would you install a tracking corona app that would message you when another user of that app was tested positive and was near you within the last few days?

I'd love to participate voluntarily, not only because it's not violating my freedoms but also because I'd imagine the data would be more valuable than by essentially doing espionage on citizens.

The terms would be: Anonymization of data, and sensible interpretation of data, transparency, and nothing legislative like the Patriot Act that'd leave these mechanics in place after this is over.

South Korea did it, but this only had a minor impact as I heard. I'd not be for such tracking if we don't have a plan to improve on it to be more effective.

Going even further, China has all the data it could possibly need, yet still fumbles around and failing on all the fronts.
