Its funny, when playing the game I kinda. Felt azzys absence from Kris? Like I always felt that "Where protective big brother!!!! Wheres the Mari to their Sunny!!!! Destroy college forever to stop sibcons worldwide from being separated!!! AZZY COME BACK YOUR SIBLINGWIFE NEEDS YOU" dlkjdsa I just really find myself enjoy how Kris aches for azzy, you see it in some of their interactions w ralsei and I always find it so. Besides that, I really liked Kris/Noelle! Like. I'm not done w ch2 yet (I know, I know) but I also find alotta enjoyment in their interactions. Noelle is just a nice character, I like how she's a bit Freaky in a way that compliments Kris? They tear the soul out and pull pranks on her, and she has a kik for being bullied by domineering ppl. Cute!

and its sweet how Noelle kind of. Dotes on Kris? Maybe that isn't the right word to use, but she likes Kris! They're still friends and I really find it fun. It also hightened the impact of the snowgrave route, which is the perfect dubious, Fuckt Up scenario to incubate a ship in. I really do wonder what she'll be like in ch3.

Also! I like how Noelle also had an older sibling that took care of her, who she ultimately lost, so there's this sense of. solidarity between her and kris, to a degree. Poor girl deserved to be kissed and maybe bullied a lil bit u_u

I've def humoured other ships (kris/susie and susie/noelle) but nothing else really caught my attention ¯_(ツ)_/¯ maybe in the future

As for undertale.... you'd think with it being my first hyperfixation that lasted YEARS, I'd have more ships for it but. Meh? lmao

With UT, I found myself leaning towards a "platonic but very intimate and lacking in boundaries" approach.... I was super into frans and chasriel cus of that! I didn't much care for the romance aspect moreso the complicated and weird relationships shared.

Frans was my main one, I think? I enjoyed the sort of... Tension of "i would kill you if I even suspect that you'll hurt the people I care for" from sans while frisk is just -_-

Ah, I think the concept of resets tying them together, sans probably knowing more than he lets on/the meta-ness of his Character was intriguing to me when I first saw it cus I was just some kid that was prone to the "WOAH SO COOL" reaction for charas who broke the 4th wall lmao. I'm a bit more indifferent to it now but as a teen that was my SHIT.

So! I think that personal appeal plus relating to frisks entire -_- vibe kind of pushed me to liking them together. I never did seek explicitly romantic/nsfw content for them tho? so it was mostly me tying them together with existential horror and making them cope with it/using it to play pranks on each other. It was fun, a ship that could be either very silly or very dramatic.

Chasriel is in the same "i feel SOOOO much for them that I can't begin to put it to words" as my other DR ships. But I will say, I enjoy Chasriel where Chara is a "evil"/mean kid who took a liking to this One Crybaby who they thought understood them
AND
Chasriel where Chara is just this. defeated, miserable, "hate the world and myself" type of kid who sees themselves as a demon whereas the underground is a hopeful place that they don't want to be ruined by humans. So they just. Go on a suicide mission with the one person they trust to help.

In both cases, they're misguided kids with ultimately misplaced intentions. They do break my heart, imagining azzy fretting over a sick chara, trying to aleviate th epain while still feeding them buttercups.... it's sad! everytime I think of it I feel so sorry for those two! I will cry over the goat and the human!!! I want them to embrace tight!!!!

sidenote, I'm obsessed w flowey's dialogue to chara in the genocide route. "Chara... I think if you're around... Just living in the surface world doesn't seem so bad." is a personal fave.

GAH I have Much to say abt theese ships but at the same time I haven't untangled my thoughts well enough to put it into words without repeating what others have already said.
In general, I just really like how... human? and complex the relationships between each character are. it's nice! and you dont see it often so it's very refreshing! A bunch of fun all around
