oh hellooo!! (^.^)/

I answered a similar question a while back and said that I enjoy shipping Clem with most of the characters since she's my fave, with Clem x Javi being my main, tho I didn't specify the ships I'm more interested in vs the ones I just like the thought of. So to be more specific: I'm a fan of Clem x Carver and Clem x Luke from season 2 plus Minerva x Clem and Minerva x Sophie from the final season.

I'm sure if I went back someday to go thru the series again, I might change my mind on some ships/get some new ones (Eg: I know Clem and Lee is The Default Daddaughter Ship but I only humor the thought rather than actively ship them. I can get my zombie daddaughter fill from joellie....) but so far I've only been interested in Clem's relationships with some of the characters.

It's a shame that I haven't seen much ship art/fic/et that isn't of the main love interests in the final season, (which are cute but. ah, I like for things to be a bit more than just Cute.) since there are so many Sexy Dynamics and Interactions. I hope to someday have the time and energy to draw something for them.

I want to make a ship circle again for my spiderverse ships but till then, my main ships are:
- Miguel x Miles
- Miguel x Gwen
- 42!Miles x 1610!Miles
- Peter B x Miles (the og ship....)

Otherwise, Hobie x Miles is one I also like seeing. Honestly, any miles ship is Yum Yum to me. Spot x Miles is also good.

I also find Miles x Gwen cute, they're really sweet. There aren't many ideas I have for them but I like what we see of them on screen. I think they're built up well, even if my point of intrigue is more toward Miles being constantly manhandled by the adults.

I don't have much interest in any ships outside of my Miles Gets Wrecked agenda, I've liked seeing ships like Peni x Noir and Gwen x Spot from mutuals but besides that, I have no strong feelings about any other ships 🤷‍♂️

I love the first game in spite of never playing or watching a full playthrough of it (and the remake has fed me so well) and I've wanted to draw them in the past but just never got around to it. Regardless, I'm still quite familiar with the general gist as I've watched several cutscenes and seen some screenshots where The Vibe cannot be denied. she fucks that old man.

Jokes aside, I am insanely endeared by their dynamic. Her energy and snark and humor compared to his dulled, quieter, more jaded demeanor... the substance that both their characters have... how he slowly grows fond of her..... like HOWWW can you not enjoy that, it's a classic. I swirl it around in my mind like a fine wine.

I love the other moments between them from major story beats like when Ellie sticks by Joel while he's ill or their moments at the museum.
Even smaller things like the dialogue where she learns how to whistle, or when you're given the option to give her a high five and hear her go "Yeahhh >:)", or when Joel (god, it Gets me just thinking about it) tells her not to laugh then plays the guitar and sings for her, or even when Joel starts calling her baby girl later on..... ough augh my delicate wee little heart bursts into confetti......

Also the way. THE WAY Joel damns the entire earth just to save this one girl, the center of his universe, is so. (clutches heart, shakes fist at the sky).

The show I haven't watched yet and I probably won't for a while but I really like what I've seen so far. Maybe someday I'll watch it/finish the game and you'll see me publicly blubbering over them! I do fancy myself a little traumatized, post-apocalyptic, vaguely incestuous duo.

Hmm in terms of hcs.... I don't have much since my interest now is a bit more cursory, but I've briefly humored some scenarios/hcs while I was actively shipping them so here they are. I hope it's at least entertaining!

• Kate bores me thoroughly, so naturally, I much prefer any ending that has he dead OR, the one where Gabe and David die, but she lives. Either way, in my mind I've done a bit of historical revisionism and came up w an ending where Javi and Clem head out together to find AJ. I want them to stick together, especially if you spent the entire game doing everything to be with her, it only makes sense that he'd follow her away from the place where he lost his family at.

• Honestly, I wouldn't have minded if they went to get him from the ranch and Javi died afterward, I just. SO BADLY wanted to see how Clem reacts to how Javi treats AJ and tries to calm him down among all the fiery chaos. Since they wouldn't have been able to go to Richmond, I think they should rebuild together for the sake of AJ.

• It's the zombie apocalypse, laws don't matter, and I think the nature of their relationship development is gonna be a fun mess once Javi finds himself in an internal moral battle while Clem, with a quite shaky grasp on social norms and still a bit of innocence in her, is only begrudging about her feelings because of her 'Dont Get Attatched' rule. (+ I love the idea of Javi being completely out of his element as he tries to figure out what to do/how to act/which rules he can apply to his emotions and the entire situation because he really cares for clem and doesn't want to cause any harm. He can't treat any of it the same way he did with Kate, which is a win to me.)

• As she comes to accept it, Clem is in constant 'Try To Woo Javi' mode but she's a teen which already makes her awkward but then she's also clueless about romantic relationships so it's the equivalent of a very aggressive mating dance while Javi is panicking the entire time. She's stubborn enough, she'll wear him down eventually. (It's also funny to think of her stunted reactions of like. bluntly teasing/bullying Javi+ trying to deflect or deny anything that could be read as affection, turning into Just That but now she's actively pursuing a relationship. Clem has 0 swag.)

• I'm rarely interested in parent-focused stories but the idea of them struggling and trying super hard to do a good job for AJ is endearing to me.

• Another hc I enjoy is Clem becoming the center of Javi's world, a certain possessiveness coming from it as she (and AJ) turn into the one thing he really has left.

• In general, I love any scenario that has Clem learning about Adulthood thru Javi while he acts as her guardian (dad) AND her equal (husband). What if Clem finds condoms while Javi and she are scavenging a pharmacy and secretly keeps them? What if she goes out of her way to read up about sex in an attempt of being seen as mature enough by Javi? (and so on and so forth...)

• you can't tell me Clem isn't completely touch-starved. We've seen her grow a soft spot for Gabe (amazingly), so you cannot convince me that eventually, she becomes quite affectionate. Her emotional availability is very interesting to me, she's sort of jaded but still, someone loving and capable of making/wanting/keeping relationships with others, and we see it with AJ and every other guardian figure she's had in her life up until that point, where she sought to sometimes even impress them.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, I never finished S4 so anything down the line is a mystery to me/casually thought of in my mind.

I have only encountered one other javi/clem shipper, so it's nice to see that there are ppl who still like it :))) I didn't draw much art of them cus I had no idea how to draw javi at the time lmfao BUT I do remember drawing a comic of sorts for them around 2 years ago! So I'll touch it up and post it for your viewing pleasure.

And fics, you say?! 👀 The height of my interest was also during the pandemic and at the time, there was like. Firstly, yes, I like luke/clem. their interactions were so endearing. Initially, I didn't really ship them, having been mostly gawking at everything that was going on lmao, but I do enjoy it! They've got several Moments, all of it was a bunch of fun to see play out (I actually pulled up a vid of them and am watching it rn salkjds). They killed him off cus they knew these two would only end up kissing on screen later.

I also liked minerva/sophie, minerva/clem, clem/carver, clem/jane, clem/Louis, clem/violet, I've even humored an au with clem/mariana... (continues forever with my clem ship bicycle agenda)

but OH MAN, anon lemme tell you, javi/clem somehow became my fave twdg ship?? I was obsessed w them last year, I still doodle them from time to time (might post the drawings some day? we'll see).

It's a bit funny!. I remember people kept saying that this was the worst season but when I saw clem, I had such a visceral reaction ( just ":O!!!!! SHE'S SO PRETTY!!! and so sassy.... I love her" lmao) that it made the entire thing 10x more enjoyable. I also like javi. mainly when he's with clem, but he's cool by himself. washed up baseball star who still carries a baseball bat.... such a charmer.

I'd say they were my faves in the entire game, and had the most interesting relationship w each other as opposed to.... other charas.....

I will not speak of his relationship w kate, in fact I will not think of it for a second longer (they bored me so much. apocalypse teen mom is the Good Ending, javi, go kiss her instead.)

I think a lot of my prefrence also came from the playthrough I watched. the person playing didnt care for picking the 'right' options and just. wrecked havoc. but then when it came to clem, they always favored any choice that pleased her and that ended up accidentally creating such a funny "I will cause everyone trouble EXCEPT clementine" attitude from Javi that appealed to me immediately.

But even in general, the interactions that came from it were some of my favorites, the 'partners in crime' dynamic was so refreshing, whenever I revisit twdg it's always just rewatching their interactions. Jaded, teen clem and good-natured, slightly goofy Javi was infinitely entertaining. Even their first interaction is extremely fun, I love their banter and how clem couldn't help but chat with him and compliment him. There's also later when he's called her body guard, or when she tells him abt her tatoo, or even later when. YKNOW. THE ARM STITCHING SCENE. THE ONE WHERE HE WAS SHIRTLESS AND THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT HER BEING ABLE TO HAVE KIDS. insane. I love em.

They're just... so cute..... I hc that they did eventually meet again sometime in the future and decided to stick together. as they should. I'm also amused by how their ship name/emoji combo is just 'baseball cap' or ⚾🧢. It's meant to be!!!

But yeah! It's such a shame that I havent found any fics/any other fanworks for them, but they're such a good pair. I Like Em A Lot and maybe I can someday talk abt them so much that I turn at least one other person into a shipper.

Its funny, when playing the game I kinda. Felt azzys absence from Kris? Like I always felt that "Where protective big brother!!!! Wheres the Mari to their Sunny!!!! Destroy college forever to stop sibcons worldwide from being separated!!! AZZY COME BACK YOUR SIBLINGWIFE NEEDS YOU" dlkjdsa I just really find myself enjoy how Kris aches for azzy, you see it in some of their interactions w ralsei and I always find it so. Besides that, I really liked Kris/Noelle! Like. I'm not done w ch2 yet (I know, I know) but I also find alotta enjoyment in their interactions. Noelle is just a nice character, I like how she's a bit Freaky in a way that compliments Kris? They tear the soul out and pull pranks on her, and she has a kik for being bullied by domineering ppl. Cute!

and its sweet how Noelle kind of. Dotes on Kris? Maybe that isn't the right word to use, but she likes Kris! They're still friends and I really find it fun. It also hightened the impact of the snowgrave route, which is the perfect dubious, Fuckt Up scenario to incubate a ship in. I really do wonder what she'll be like in ch3.

Also! I like how Noelle also had an older sibling that took care of her, who she ultimately lost, so there's this sense of. solidarity between her and kris, to a degree. Poor girl deserved to be kissed and maybe bullied a lil bit u_u

I've def humoured other ships (kris/susie and susie/noelle) but nothing else really caught my attention ¯_(ツ)_/¯ maybe in the future

As for undertale.... you'd think with it being my first hyperfixation that lasted YEARS, I'd have more ships for it but. Meh? lmao

With UT, I found myself leaning towards a "platonic but very intimate and lacking in boundaries" approach.... I was super into frans and chasriel cus of that! I didn't much care for the romance aspect moreso the complicated and weird relationships shared.

Frans was my main one, I think? I enjoyed the sort of... Tension of "i would kill you if I even suspect that you'll hurt the people I care for" from sans while frisk is just -_-

Ah, I think the concept of resets tying them together, sans probably knowing more than he lets on/the meta-ness of his Character was intriguing to me when I first saw it cus I was just some kid that was prone to the "WOAH SO COOL" reaction for charas who broke the 4th wall lmao. I'm a bit more indifferent to it now but as a teen that was my SHIT.

So! I think that personal appeal plus relating to frisks entire -_- vibe kind of pushed me to liking them together. I never did seek explicitly romantic/nsfw content for them tho? so it was mostly me tying them together with existential horror and making them cope with it/using it to play pranks on each other. It was fun, a ship that could be either very silly or very dramatic.

Chasriel is in the same "i feel SOOOO much for them that I can't begin to put it to words" as my other DR ships. But I will say, I enjoy Chasriel where Chara is a "evil"/mean kid who took a liking to this One Crybaby who they thought understood them
AND
Chasriel where Chara is just this. defeated, miserable, "hate the world and myself" type of kid who sees themselves as a demon whereas the underground is a hopeful place that they don't want to be ruined by humans. So they just. Go on a suicide mission with the one person they trust to help.

In both cases, they're misguided kids with ultimately misplaced intentions. They do break my heart, imagining azzy fretting over a sick chara, trying to aleviate th epain while still feeding them buttercups.... it's sad! everytime I think of it I feel so sorry for those two! I will cry over the goat and the human!!! I want them to embrace tight!!!!

sidenote, I'm obsessed w flowey's dialogue to chara in the genocide route. "Chara... I think if you're around... Just living in the surface world doesn't seem so bad." is a personal fave.

GAH I have Much to say abt theese ships but at the same time I haven't untangled my thoughts well enough to put it into words without repeating what others have already said.
In general, I just really like how... human? and complex the relationships between each character are. it's nice! and you dont see it often so it's very refreshing! A bunch of fun all around

I know that test animation inspired this HC and I totally see why it's popular but personally, I see him as less of an "I have anger issues guy" and more of an "I've been wronged for so long but feel as though I don't have any right to be angry about it so I'll lock my feelings in deep inside and let it rot" kind of guy.

I think he keeps his anger to himself, simmering in it silently and letting it wash over him, or expressing it through his stories, but rarely having outbursts. (I'm totally not projecting)

It's sorta the same thought process I had when drawing that angry Bruno sketch, I see him as sensitive and just the tiniest bit emotional (I mean cmon he writes about romance and heartbreak, of COURSE he is). He isn't a stranger to annoyance or frustration but doesn't actually get angry oft. When he does, though, his emotions overwhelm him completely and just. pour out. a broken dam, in a sense.

Also! To go back to the dialogue in the test animation, I don't think Bruno fully shares the "I feel as though the world owes me" sentiment but rather, he doesn't expect anything in return, he'll suffer for the people he cares about BUT what he does get in the end (Mira getting him out of the wall and back to the family (+ bringing light into his life)) would make him feel like it was all worth the trouble.
