CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HIT THE JACKPOT QUESTION!! Prepare yourself for SO MUCH LORE...

For the first 12 years of his life, he lived in Oca, a village in Octo Valley. It was a peaceful village, until Agent 3 arrived in their quest to retrieve the Great Zapfish. After seeming to be peaceful. the village chief tricked them, and tried to kill them in the village by unleashing over 500 Octarian soldiers on them. They realized it was a trick. and told him to stop, else there'd be consequences. He refused, and paid the ultimate price for it, before they started blasting down all the soldiers blocking the entrance. Lance saw this all occur, and in anger, he barged out of his house with his father's N-Zap, which was loaded with a real bullet. He fired it at them, which narrowly missed, forcing them to flee. In response, DJ Octavio brought Lance into the Octarian Army, after he passed all three tests. He remained in the army for several months, defending his home, until he discovered the true intentions of Octavio. This led to him in the next battle against Agent 3 getting captured on purpose to leave Octo Valley. He spent the next 1 1/2 years in Inkopolis, eventually winning his first tournament after 5 tries, earning the nickname "The Prodigy" as he was the youngest to ever win a tournament at 14 years, 35 days. However, this didn't last, as he was captured by Kamabo Co and Tartar, and experimented on as #2710. This led to him becoming partially sanitized after managing to break the sterilization process in between. However, he was forced to work under Tartar to survive, capturing over 1000 subjects, including a certain someone of my main cast of characters. Eventually, as Agent 8 defeated Tartar, Lance watched from nearby, and celebrated, but was caught in the following explosion, being blown away to Octo Canyon, where Agent 4 found him. He was brought to their HQ, where he stayed for a year, as they developed a cure for sanitization. His case was rare though, as they never knew about partial sanitization to this point, leading to him being one of the main subjects for testing DNA and helping research. Eventually a cure for partial sanitization was discovered, and Lance was one of the first to test it, which was a success. He then lived peacefully once more, moving to Inkopolis Square, and winning several more tournaments. The biggest was SQUEVO 2020, where he spent the night celebrating. This celebration was short lived though, as when he was on his way back, he was attacked by 2 unknown figures, and left to die in the Splatlands, stripped of his clothing and belongings. 3 months later, a girl named Jasmine (who used to be Agent 4 before she retired) finds him, and manages to resuscitate him, finding him new clothing, and helping him get healthy again. They become good friends, and he was allowed to visit her anytime. A few weeks later, he sat in the corner of Splatsville, depressed that no one would trust him, until someone saw him. This person was Chloé, who helped him emotionally, causing him to break down into tears in her arms. He quickly developed feelings for her, and accidentally blurted it out afterwards. She originally knocked it off as a joke, and helped him find info on the two who attacked him. It turns out that it was Kephsis and Oŕvar of the Ziphosian Clan, a group of cultists who sought anarchy, and the end of all rules. They attacked Lance as a statement to end tournaments and the competitive scene as a whole. He sought revenge against them, and told Chloé and Jasmine about this news, leading to the three of them training for a year. Jasmine had a grudge against them as well, which is the reason she trained, and Chloé wasn't a fighter, but wanted to be able to protect them, so she joined them too. During this time, Lance and Chloé's bond slowly deepened, eventually leading to them having their first kiss, After the training ended, Jasmine joined Lance in staging a blackmail letter to the Ziphosian Clan, telling the two leaders to show up near the crater or their base would be leaked. They show up, and Lance and Jasmine team up against Kephsis and Oŕvar. They seem to have success at first, until Oŕvar shoots Lance in the head directly with her sniper, before Kephsis unleashed a Booyah Bomb on him, hoping to kill him once and for all. After seeing the explosion and believing he was dead, Jasmine was enraged, and killed Oŕvar in 5 shots of her E-Liter. A battle between the 2 remained led to Kephsis trying to kill Jasmine with a Neo Splat Bomb, 10x stronger than a normal Splat Bomb. However, Lance returned, and saved her life, much to her shock. He was beaten and bloodied, but was still standing. The 2 of them proceeded to defeat Kephsis, and kill him with unknowingly the same N-Zap Lance used against Agent 3, however he didn't know of this. This was because the original attack by them led to him getting amnesia. Soon after he defeated Kephsis, Lance collapsed unconscious from blood loss. Jasmine ran as fast as she could back, carrying him in her arms all the way back. Her house had 2 healing chambers, which could heal any non-lethal wounds. Once she placed Lance in there, she too collapsed from exhaustion. Luckily, her father came home later that morning, and was proud of his daughter for saving Lance's life, before placing her into the chamber as well. Chloé didn't find out about this until she heard from a witness who saw Jasmine carrying Lance run past him. She ran to her house, and saw what happened to them, causing her to breakdown in tears. She began praying for their recovery every day, which after 3 months, Jasmine woke up. After a reunion with best friends, she convince Jasmine to pray for Lance with her, in which she spilled the beans that she too has fallen in love with Lance. After he recovered 6 months after the battle, he surprised Chloé. She confessed her love to him, in which he responded in kind too, and truly became a couple. She helped Lance recover his memories, mainly thanks to help from Serena telling them to go to the library, where Lance rediscovered his SQUEVO 2020 win, and the move he used during it, nicknamed the "Quadreef". Soon after this though, a PSA occurred, announcing that Inkopolis and Splatsville was under attack by the Salmonids. After a long fought war that led to many deaths, the three of them reunited together. Throughout the next year, the three of them, along with Serena and Zane, formed Team ZCD. Finally, 2 weeks ago in my lore, something very special happened, which will be revealed in my next SFM poster!
