That growing up is abstract. It's not like school where the teacher will remind or even punish you when you broke the rules, it's not like university where your professor would give you an E when you fail. Growing up as an adult, no one really told you what to do. They're just saying their expectations coated as advices. It feels like you're at an intersection without any clear direction to go. You're just waiting for the light to turns green to move forward; but you might also forgot that you coulr always use the zebra cross. It might not be linear, but you're still moving forward. But whether it's right or wrong, it's no one's to decide. That's why, to me.. I hope I was more familiar with the abstract concept.
