My parents were traditionalist dragons from Sollana, and like many others, we came to Overland with Idelia when she ascended. But my parents didn’t adapt well. They still had backwards notions about dragon types, and how to treat kobolds. I met a wonderful man: Deo. He was funny, and stubborn, and so passionate. I adored him, and could always rely on him to be honest. My parents hated him. He was a red dragon, and of demonic blood no less. I was a gold dragon, of “divine blood,” and “shouldn’t sully myself with such an impure bloodline.” My father’s words. There was a dispute, and eventually the traditionalists were driven out. I chose to stay…and Idelia adopted me as her son. Deo and I were married shortly thereafter, and I moved to Heck with him when he became a full demon!
