Hmm, that's a vague term.. I think it's being able to distance myself from Jade. Sorry for always seeming to bring them up but in a sense their presence has been important to me, they served like a mirror of what I could be like if I didn't become better myself but inevitable our similarities made me feel almost indebted to help them. I told an exfriend once "to you, it's just another incident but to them (jade) it's the biggest thing in their entire life— you're on the shore with a scraped leg while they're drowning in the sea".. but now I realized that they were the ones jumping in the sea over and over again. I'm not proud of having fought with those old friends, or standing my ground then, though I don't plan on getting them back soon anyway. Maybe in the future, a few years from then ☆
