Kinda becomes a different show the moment they reach the dragon, huh? It's not bad, but the vibes are different with the flow gone. The main party is super well-rounded. I think it's hard not to have Laios be your favorite character. He's got the most time given to him, and the most depth. The story seems to be interested in unpacking the bright-eyed shonen protagonist archetype as explicitly neurodivergent. Marcille's constant protesting feels like it would be grating in different hands, but she's written really well and her English dub is my favorite voice on the show. Senshi and Chilchuck unfortunately feel like they're sitting in the background, waiting to be allowed back in the story again.
