how many hours have you put in... lets say minecraft
I probably put a couple hundred hours into the beta, back when you kinda ran out of things to "do" almost immediately. I'd build huge structures that interacted with the landscape, like a floating inverted pyramid that hovered over a hole in the ocean that went all the way down to the bedrock. Always in survival mode, never in creative. It was crucial that it was all done over time. I liked to build walkways and temples where the floor was made entirely of tetrominoes consisting of three different rock types. Use nether stuff to inlay a line of fire into my walls, etc.
Back in the day it's probably the most Comfort Game I've ever had, and crucially I had to be in some kind of friend group server where you could wander and see new things that others had built. The very different goals people had. I never used redstone, never made optimized kill-farming structures. I was kinda making Myst settings without ever having played Myst yet. But now I'm not in any servers and I have zero work-life balance so I don't really play video games for fun anymore.
Also how did you manage to ask this like it was a sex thing?
