I have a friend who can be very picky about fanfics due to their preferences. Recommended them your Cyno and Xiangling cryptid hunting story and they really liked it, said "I could see this as an event in the game" which is basically the highest praise from them. :D They're not very good at commenting, so I wanted to pass on the praise here.
Ahhh I'm so glad that you liked/enjoyed! A lot of my zine works wind up being my favorite fics because they're usually general content, and are often times a little goofy, so I'm really honored that the both of you liked it so much! It really means a lot to me, and thank you for sharing with your friend!!!
