hai kak, aku mau bagi info (asumsi) yang bisa dibilang menarik ttg asal kata nama asli childe, ajax/aias. diantara arti2 yg populer di internet sepertinya kata ‘aias’ juga bisa diartikan ‘of mother’.
dan kalo manggil childe secara langsung (vokatif) kita bisa panggil dia ‘Αἴαν’ atau ‘Αἴα’ yang diambil dari kata (atau berhomonim?) dengan kata 'αἶα' yang artinya earth/mother di ancient Greek ( kemungkinan nama varian dari earth goddess gaia). jadi kalo manggil childe "Αἴα" kayak manggil childe “mother” hehe..
tapi asumsiku ini belum tentu bener, soalnya aku gak tau Bahasa Yunani sama sekali lol cuma bermodal selective browsing/reading.

A Zhongchi and ""one-sided" Neuvithesley headcanon that I have for ya :> Wrio is good friends (as in pen-pals) with Zhongli and when Childe ends in the Fortress he recognizes him from all his letters and exchanges with Zhongli so he ends having a deep friendship with those two and when he listens to them on ther pining/divorce era Wrio is just like "damn is this is what being in a relationship is like I'm glad I never said my feelings to Neuvi" because Wrio os deeply in love with Neuvi but we will never admit it knowing how the Iudex doesn't want any kind of "personal" relationship so he's happy with their kind of friendship they have and Childe notices that his new friend (who also indulges him with some spars inside the Fortress) is also pining for someone so they become pining buddies but Wrio is still giving both him and Zhongli advice and basically being a matchmaker for zc, then 4.1 and 4.2 happens, Childe is nowhere to be seen and Wrio is worried sick because he wants his friend to be safe and as soon as he has notice that Childe is deeply injured and back at Snezhnaya what he does is write a letter to Zhongli as in "hey the person you're in love with is fighting to stay alive, better if you go visit him and fix everything before it's too late".
Some months go by, Fontaine is finally back to normal even without an archon om the throne and one day Sigewinne barges into his office with a smug smile on her face as in "Your Grace you have visitors" and Wrio is just like "???" until both Zhongli and Childe come in with a wedding invite and both of them thanking the Duke for helping them sort out their feelings and all that and Wrio is just happy to see his friends happy and wishing he could have something like what they have with Neuvi insert nom here
Anyways it's not one-sided, Neuvi also fell for Wrio but those two doesn't know something called ✨communication✨ and they're still on their "we're only some friends/work colleagues hahaha" era and oh archons I wanna smack them all on the head now-

the way you're not even allowed to think zhongli did an uncool thing during 1.1 its always that childe has no feelings or they don't matter because childe is "crazy" but they'll still go "yass zhongli girlboss using childe". they treat zhongli as being so cool for doing it but you're also not allowed to thing he did wrong too, not just childe. the ship is just people thinking its so cool no matter how badly zhongli treats childe because it's not like childe is a person or anything, his feelings don't matter.

with how everyone defends zhongli even though he's the most popular character, while childe is always hated on by zhongli fans who hate zc. i never see zc fans defend childe from these people, they defend zhongli but never childe. childe gets bad treatment from zc/ttli and hate from people who ship zhongli with someone else. childe can't be shipped in any good ship with someone because if its the harbingers, ppl just write abuse. the way i hate zhongli so much now just because his fans won't shut up and stop dragging childe and how nobody who ships them defends childe. this ship only favors one character and i'm tired of it!!
