There's been plenty. One significant one is Solaris' daughter, who was supposed to be near the age of Lunaria and serve the little sister role. But because I changed Solaris around and he is now closer in age to her, there was no longer room for her and thus don't really need her.
Not anyone currently! Thankfully. Even if some are background. I try to write lil notes for them to keep ‘em alive
Y'know, I don't think I've ever trashed an oc. The design's overhauled, but the core idea is always there.
I've actually been given quite a few of my friend's OCs, to keep their memories alive.
I love em' too much to throw em away.
I have given two OCs away I think? Or I just redesigned them so heavily.
But in recent memory, I had a porcupine oc who I wanted to make into a pnagolin instead, but after two or so months of not being able to come up with a design for them I scrapped them, though not entirely. It's more so on indefinite backburner.
Otherwise I don't really entirely scrap or give away an OC. Maybe a design for one, sure. There was an oc that I had some help redesigning, and I gave one of the stop-gap redesigns to Twiggy to see if she might want to make them one of her NoMo babies, or if not then I might try to sell the design as an adoptable or smt. But Twiggy did say it'll take her a long time before she's able to get around to it, so that one's still up in the air.
