was there any aspect of your OC(s) that you struggled with settling on, whether it was a character trait, a piece of their lore or just a visual design component?

I STRUGGLED WITH EVERY BIT I'M NOT GONNA LIE. 😭

  • To fitting them inside the lore took an extreme amount of time and wasted designs.

  • Their personality how it was build, and why it has kept them alive for so long and how would the people ineide the story respond to it.

  • Sorry I just like complaining, although I struggle alot with how I built Iru as a whole. Her personality and how she interacts can still confuse me although I think it's a bit of a charm, I really can't settle with it.

theres lots of lore stuff im still struggling to figure out about my ocs backstories, because sometimes i just feel like i cant think outside the box well enough

His fucking hair.

I was not sure what to do with it at all when thinking up of a design.

But im happy with what he got rn... fluffy

Jasper wasn't a "stable" OC when starting out. There were so many things with Arknights I was and am still learning about Terra, that when putting the details down fell short after the initial Concept. As I got more involved with research as the year went on, I constantly reworked her, even down to her overall design.

With that being said, there a still elements and bits of lore that I'm still reworking/refining, but I do have a solid foundation for Jasper, so we are getting there!

AHH yes-

For kingston I struggled w his design, esp the hair, at first. And then one day I drew him w the undercut and never looked back since AJKD

For Ruth the struggle is ongoing for like everything @-@ bc lore rewrite, but I think one aspect that I have trouble with... that is out of my control is like because people already have preconceived assumptions about her based on how she was previously written and I'm a lil afraid it will muddy how they read her lore... :'O TLDR: problem of differentiating Ruth's lore from her previous iteration is the hard part for me
