Because of his dad's job as a journalist, Odd's actually quite a fair bit since he was young, and as such grew to like it a lot from all the different place's he's seen

One of his favorite's when he was younger was Sinnoh, but more specifically Canalave City; partly because its port reminded him of his hometown Sliverlunn City, and because he loved reading at it's library (which is where he actually narrowed down how he might find the strange, shadowy being he had been seeing in his dreams for a while at that point)
