salutations.
i've returned once more. retrospring is shutting down next year apparently.... if anyone knows where most of us are planning to migrate to, please let me know. i'm unable to use twitter for this sort of thing..... seeing as though i would very much like to keep this side of me hidden for all of eternity. i even alter my typing style whilst talking here.... anyhow, i do hope i manage to find someplace else. it's quite nice to finally be able to have a place to share my thoughts. if i may allow myself to get mildly emotional for a moment; these thoughts and attractions i have are almost all a result of hypersexuality and intrusive thoughts. it's nice to have an outlet where i know i won't be judged. thank you to those that talk to me regularly on here, it's appreciated in ways you'll never know. pardon my sentimentality.

So far the best option in terms of a q&a service (or at least a site that allows anonymous questions) seems to be curiouscat, if I can actually get it to fucking work and let me change my pfp without "invalid API request" errors. Every other site that's similar to retrospring has something that just wouldn't make it work unfortunately, from fake bot questions on tellonym to not allowing NSFW stuff on several, to not allowing long questions or a way to answer outright on strawpage. Potentially a tumblr could work but I've never liked the site and I don't trust that it'll actually last all things considered. In the meantime I'll keep looking into alternatives, and if anyone else has suggestions for said alternatives I'll gladly check them out. I've heard good things about aethy but it's not really a q&a thing, more like twitter if it was based.
I totally get you in terms of wanting to stay hidden, world is a fuck and I consider it a miracle I haven't had to deal with anything particularly terrible from insane netizens over fictional interests. Everyone deserves an outlet without fear of judgement within it, as bottling things up helps nobody. I'm glad you've been able to have one here, I enjoy answering your questions on either account. I'm sure as hell gonna miss Retrospring and the people on it even if I manage to find a place to move. Praying something changes and the decision to shut down retrospring doesn't go through, but I'm not holding my breath.
