Sometimes I write words in an order that some people seem to like.

Willing to share part of a wip?
Sure! Here's a paragraph from the next chapter of Boy Meets Wolf!
Ochako hoped that their conversation would distract her opponent enough to find an opening, but Bakugou was locked in. She’d never seen anybody so focused in their life. She’d never had anybody treat her as a threat. It was /incredibly/ attractive.
How would you describe your writing process?
It starts with a theme or scene I want to explore. Then I'll write a summary of the story I've crafted to get what I want. It’s easier to do it at the beginning and it also helps solidify where I want to go.
After the summary, I'll start outlining, specifying what the beginning, middle, and end should incorporate (and a chapter by chapter outline for multichapter fics). I'll usually put all my notes and research in the same doc to reference unless there's just too much. If it's a more complex, longer story, sometimes I'll track days/times.
Once that's done, I'll start writing, deleting what I accomplish from the outline once it's in the draft. Kinda like a to-do list, but I can add whatever I want in-between as long as I get through the outline. Create rough draft. If I have to start and stop, I'll write a little basic reminder of what I was thinking would come next to help me get back into the story more easily.
I edit as I go, but I'll do a final read/edit before publishing. Usually I'll wait a day after completing the first draft before I do that to let everything settle.
Sorry for the long answer! Hopefully that's what you wanted 😅💕
Favorite movie(s)?
Oh, that is a very long list, I'll be honest. I am a big movie buff, and I have a lot of guilty pleasure and comfort movies. But some of my favorites are The Shape of Water, Ex Machina, Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pride & Prejudice (2005), Howl's Moving Castle, American Werewolf in London, and The To All The Boys Trilogy.
not a question, but I wanted to say I'm a big fan of yours
What story/fic is your favourite you've written so far?
Oh, boy. I feel like it depends on the day, but in general, probably Be My Buddy. It wasn't for a long time because I had read it so much while I was writing it and then it seemed so outdated because my writing skills improved a lot. But, recently, I've been rereading it and I'm kind of falling back in love with it, errors and all. That being said, I also love Got Game? and Smirk or Nothing. In Their Skin would be up there, but since it's not finished, I don't feel like it counts yet.
What/who would you say is your biggest inspiration for your work?
Often what inspires me most is real life events, stories, or memories. I do get inspo from movies sometimes since I love them so much, but that's usually for a vibe rather than a whole story as I don't often write those kinds of AUs, though I do want to try!
As for who, I think Annette Curtis Klause was a huge influence on me and inspired me to write the stories I want to write versus what I think everyone will like. She doesn't shy away from the angst or the problematic. I also think Guillermo del Toro inspires how I approach stories. I want the world to feel lived in and I strive to write the creatures and villains with clear motives and be multidimensional. The worlds he builds are just gorgeous.
