Is there a way to make a deal with a weapon if it's sentient enough? Like if I have Tuta Umbra I let it consume my enemies in exchange of not being corroded +new abilities or using cores from other demons to upgrade it or something?
YEAH the few sentient ones that exist in Refrain operate on that principle. GRANTED, corrosion is non-negotiable since the vast majority of devils can't control that barring the archdevils and some very specific elder devils but I its access to a wider array of abilities then yeah super doable

Let's say in a hypothetical scenario the universe just gives a massive fuck you to Almonde by having Mik hatch out of his core looking and sounding like Claudius since this is never gonna happen I really want to know what would happen in this hypothetical, what would reaction be?

The reason why I asked about her drugging him is because I feel like one of the endings for the story would be like princess Renner from Overlord in the sense that she keeps her crush bedridden and fucks him silly (and killed evryone in the kingdom). My main gripe with this is that to some extent Almonde would be kind of objectifying him like some sort of stress toy, but what is your verdict regarding this? I think she would not go that far, but that's just me
Well she's already built up this idealized vision of hom in her head that will do what she says regardless so Mik's long been objectified by that point. Definitely a juicy bad end scenario but to Reiterate, not likely because Mik, if split from Lazarus, will bend over backwards for whatever Almonde wishes no matter his own moral reservations so no drugging necessary LOL

A couple of Cole-related questions:
Could Cole have become a 1st class Executioner if he had cared to actually try? Or was his potential limited to just under that level? Did the rest of the gang know about his more "humanatarian" missions? If not, what would their reactions have been to finding out?Cheers in advance, this world you've created is just so awesome!
Mmmmm Tutta Ombra is strong and Cole has the cunning to wield it efficiently and more creatively than Johanna did but his potential just isn't feated for the kind of front loaded damage that a first class executioner would provide so he's close but always just a notch below. He's well aware of this and doesn't mind, only griping that he should've trained more when he has to face Stratham during the big uprising that threw the Chirch into disarray (and subsequently loses, leading to his capture and execution)
Almonde finds out about his church-mandated side job first and doesn't judge him for it despite how badly he wanted her to since he reveals it during a particularly low emotional point. The heart to heart convo between them and Almonde's assurance the the rest of the guys won't string him out for it wither if he lets them know actually saves him from potentially "turning" and it's that earned loyalty that makes him ultimate sacrifice himself for Almonde (and Mik but mostly Almonde lol). Stratham LIKELY would've taken issue with Cole not saying anything sooner and find some way to justify church sanctioned assassination anyways. Mik would just shrug and tell him that the fact that its eating him on the inside means Cole clearly takes no pleasure in it and just did what he had to do though Mik would also pull rank and find some way to get Cole's activities summarily cut short behind the scenes

how did cole deal with mikhail and almonde fiasco, was he conflicted about hunting them, did he want to help them, did he felt betrayed someway or he was just so used to seeing such tragedies like this to the point of standing neutral about it?
