Well that’s cute. So Is it like a matching system? Prideful people work well with prideful weapons?
If so I’d like to see how Adam could be slothful.
Adam’s a case of reading her main motivations to get the tie-in.
-At her core, she values stability. Abel represents that and any threats to him means a threat to what keeps her mentally and emotionally grounded.
- The church and Hezekiah became a safe haven around that Center. Much as she loathes Abel’s choice to join in, they keep him safe as long as she’s useful so she’ll happily perpetuate the status quo set by the church to obey orders without questioning anything that might potentially lead to conflict (and any progress that would come out of that).
- Because of that, life for her is deliberately predictable. Ordered. And thus stagnant.
- And so, in my mind, having no purpose beyond keeping the new life she painstakingly built for herself and her brother unchanged could perhaps count as slothful. Like a rock stubbornly rooted in place.
(Tl:dr Adam dislikes the idea of change and paradoxically works hard to keep her life at a virtual standstill for the sake of her brother)
