The recent post on Twitter makes me think you have low self-esteem (welcome to the club if I'm correct), yet you likely get hate for some of your more risque art every now and then and it doesn't seem to affect you at all.
How does that work? Genuine question because even if you are somewhat resistant to the insults thrown at you, it gotta be mentally exhausting at some point
Or maybe I'm wrong and you don't get as much hate as I think?
I don’t think I get as much as some would think nowadays but I also just don’t go actively looking for them either. At the height of it, I’d always kept a professional distance from my risqué stuff and hearing the same combination of emotionally-charged and hastily typed “critique” became background noise real fast (not to mention there are a lot of practical ways to tune them out but I’ve also just been good at ignoring people, for better or for worse lmao). None of that matters compared to my biggest enemy (myself) who actually knows a lot more about my life outside of my art and puts me to task for it thusly 🥹
