how did cole deal with mikhail and almonde fiasco, was he conflicted about hunting them, did he want to help them, did he felt betrayed someway or he was just so used to seeing such tragedies like this to the point of standing neutral about it?

He DID help them actually, he was the one who organized a rebellion to help Mikhail bust Almonde out after she was captured by the Church. Paid for it with his life when Stratham executed him for it 💔
