HELLO BIG ALPHA. ohhh baiheng my beloved (and the beloved. heh. see what i did there.) i have MANY A HC ABOUT HER. firstly, ever since we learned of rainsoar lake being a thing, SHE IS DEFINITELY BANNED FROM IT. i have a feeling she has been found swimming there, or drinking, or many other myriad things that the cauldron master (TECHNICALLY jiaoqiu's master could have met baiheng, and i like to think that he did know her) didnt approve of, so she got banned. she promises to bring jingliu there but never got the chance. i also hc she LOVES foxian operas and thats why baiheng street is named after the foxian performing arts areas! and also that the militaristic culture of the yaoqing made baiheng feel very conflicted on what to do because of her trailblazing and hunt internal conflict, like which one does she want to commit to. baiheng is definitely the best cook in the hcq and always gives the nicest portions to jingliu. she also likes wine and has a collection of fancy ones, mainly based on the funkier the bottle, the more she wants to display it because she thinks it's cool. but the hcq also know that baiheng drinks too much (mainly because the pressure of being a prestigious family's daughter and she wants to travel and learn like them, but she's so prodigal at flying that she feels like she has to join the army, but she doesnt know what she wants to do and the yaoqing's militaristic culture (and i hc very harsh conscription laws) is very much pushing her away from doing what she wants to do, and are trying and get her to fight) and so the hcq get her to stop drinking, mainly by introducing her to other hobbies (or yx bringing his big sister baiheng to work bc the six charioteers wont stop pestering him) like yx maybe introducing her to more dainty artisanship (im thinking ornaments), df and her going shopping and writing poetry, diary writing with jing yuan and dates with jingliu as opposed to baiheng just staying at home drinking

yeah i think its very interesting and thank you for sending it to me! i have been bouncing feixiao jiaoqiu yukong jing yuan and grief around in my head a lot lately and oh my god more yukong content is always appreciated (i also wish we saw her interact with jiaoqiu in 2.4 and 2.5), i know i dont talk about her much but i do love her so much! her cq is so good, ive played it twice and just OH MY GOD. her grief really drives her actions in the modern day and its so wonderful to have this small subplot where we can see her slowly begin to heal, saying she will board a starskiff again for tingyun, she came to penacony, etc. i also really hope we see her interact with jiaoqiu (someone who is still so burdened by the 3rd abun war's trauma, the very thing yukong has taken the first steps towards healing from). i would love to get qingni as a playable character too but i dont think they will :(

so yeah ty for sending this to me!! i really love yukong and i wanna see more of her and more of her healing! i think it would be cool to see the yaotrio meet up with yukong tingyun and qingni for when feixiao wages that war against phantylia, its almost like getting closure for tingyun that yukong herself can never really have. ty for sending this to me and i hope you have a lovely day!!

gallagher just isnt my vibe. i guess some people like the older guy bartender vibe but its really not for me. like if siobhan was playable and he was the npc i would prefer it a lot more. penacony just wasnt really my thing anyway (and the fact 2.6 was a penacony patch considering how much stuff happened in 2.5... smh). ruan mei i like a lot more since of her involvement with fugue/tingyun who ive always liked, herta i've always liked but especially now with her cool new form and hopefully more plot relevance im very excited. yanqing in 2.5 was also pretty cool! now we've actually seen him do something more monumental it makes me like him more, before it felt like they just told us he was a prodigy without showing us. and as for acheron, she's cool but i dont have a lot to say about her. i also feel like her writing is a bit all over the place? she's not laid back like black swan but her dialogue is very like informal/casual? i do like her (and would love to see her interact with jiaoqiu) but i feel like she just needs more time to get fleshed out. i would love to see a cq for her!

omg hello anon from yesterday!! yeah i never look in character or ship tags because im scared of people being weird. as for jiaoqiu meeting feixiao as a kid, that got debunked so no need to worry about that!! but omg im sorry it was the irritating thing that made you upset when you played the quest, just overall it's a heartwrencher :(
i also love feiqiu sm!! ive written a few fics for them and im working on one rn and just USUGH AIUGH THEM!! THEM!!11 the way that the trust between them is something built up over years, the way they help each other heal, the gentle realisation of 'oh. hang on. i like them.' JUST AUGH!!!11

as for drawing ideas... i feel like we need more art of jiaoqiu with a cane/mobility aid (i'm not sure what the navigation tools for blind people are called? but i havent seen much art of him with one and we need more jiaoqiu art, especially just cute stuff, like him on a walk with feixiao or even just by himself, where him using a cane/mobility aid is just an accepted part of his character. like it's not something to stare at or like its just 'ah this is something he needs after 2.5!', like it's a PART OF jiaoqiu, not something that somehow detracts from him in any way because it obviously doesnt!) but it would be wonderful to see him with one! and as for the two of them together AUGH i think about those 2 at rainsoar lake, ALL THE TIME.

HELLO ANON AND YES YES YES!! truly there is no high-cloud QUINTET without analysing the relationship between ALL of the members, like the loading screen says they splintered due to their "deep longing for a comrade who sacrificed themselves" LIKE AAA THEIR FRIENDSHIP SAVED THEM BUT ALSO DESTROYED THEM AAAA, and also i think baiheng and dan feng's friendship is also really overlooked! and also the way jingliu sort of made blade into a living weapon, the way her role as the transcendent flash and her being presented with the shard sword by yingxing sort of locked her into her role as a sword before a person (even though it wasnt the intention)... that same weapon being used by ANOTHER living weapon, in blade, like AAAAAAAA i can talk about the shard sword in relation to the hcq forever like AA!! and YES the hcq's friendship NEEDS to be talked about more omg they're all so dear to meee
