OH ABSOLUTELY. like i actually feel like it can contribute (ESPECIALLY jiaoqiu dying) to the overall theme of the xianzhou that got kickstarted with tingyun's death, that the people who die are never the soldiers, but the innocent people who just want to help others; and the heavy collateral damage that warfare brings (we also see this with dan shu joining the disciples of sanct med after yufei died in the 3rd abun war).

from a story standpoint, i definitely see that it makes sense to kill jiaoqiu off since he's also in the middle of his own personal character arc (learning about his 'true purpose as a healer' and healing from the trauma of the 3rd abun war) and it could also show the unrelenting cruelty of the xianzhou to so clearly tell us THIS MAN IS SUFFERING! and then kill him anyway. (BUT GOD I HOPE THEY DONT DO THAT BC I LOVE HIM AND I WILL BE SAD IF HE SUFFERS) but im more iffy on them killing feixiao since it doesnt contribute to a wider theme. i also just wanna see feixiao put herself back together after losing him, knowing how close feixiao and jiaoqiu are, regardless of whether they're being looked at in a shipping lens or not... i wanna poke post 2.5 feixiao w a stick and see how she reacts

but in terms of me liking feiqiu?? THE FACT THAT BOTH OF THEM COULD DIE IN 2.5??? ohhh im gonna scream if one of them dies. i just wanna see them both injured so i can write a shitton of hurt comfort. bonus points if moze feels really really guilty so we get some moze story focus on how perhaps seeing his two closest friends suffer also makes him suffer in a way he didn't even know was possible... like the lux arrow in the 3rd abun war, it being the "right" thing to do, to label feixiao as a traitor to the alliance for falling to moon rage, for leaving jiaoqiu to get seriously injured by the borisin bc saving him is too risky... i wanna know how moze feels about it. also knowing the skysplitter was only decommissioned after the 3rd abun war... a LUOFU. WARSHIP. cough, COUGH. CAIYI LORE???? 3RD ABUN WAR LORE??? HOW IS YUKONG GONNA REACT TO SEEING A LUOFU WARSHIP THAT SERVED IN THE 3RD ABUN WAR? IM SO EXCITEDDDDD
