So it’s a tricky one because I think I lack enough self awareness to truly answer it because like…I may have media that I love a lot but does it actually influenced my art ? I don’t know, it’s hard to see 😆

But I will try ! I think one of my first influences was Steven universe simply because I began to draw when I was a huge fan of it 😆 I loved Rebecca Sugar’s artstyle and was completely in adoration of her little unfinished comic “Margo in bed” ❤️

Then of course Naoki Urasawa’s works even tho I think I never actual “got” his style… how many time did I try to draw Atom and Tenma how he exactly drew them and failed completely ? I tell you, a lot😆

I loved Naruto and Shaman king back in highschool and my childhood was full of Astérix and other French comics, maybe they still influence my art today…

Now a special mention to Otava Heikkilä ! ( https://x.com/claystorks?s=21&t=4x_y_DRoOx_PjzQwUSNhjw ) his erotic works were just mind opening, it’s so hot but there’s a subtlety to it, and how he is inspired by ancient history and all… a true art model, if my art can have just a fraction of the beauty of his works, I would die happy 😭💕

Now speaking of other media like music and writing, it’s hard to guess if it influenced me or not but here’s a short list of what nourish my soul the most : asoiaf series and the locked tomb | metal music with a certain flair like primordial, enslaved and summoning ✨
