Elio has quite a few people he would consider his best friends - people he would literally bend over backward for without hesitation should the situation call for it. Among them are:

🔵[Choi Taejin] - his ever-loyal-follower-turned-significant-other.

🟤[Ashe Solur] - his first-ever genuine friend known for his short stature and introversion that beguiles his godly jack-of-all-trades skill set: especially at his (then) age, which only improved significantly over time due to a plethora of external factors and his personal desire to support Elio in any way he could.

🟡[Andrew Faradohm] - Elio's occasional "partner-in-crime" well-known for being a 'happy-go-lucky golden-haired electromaster' and one of Unova's resident Top Rangers: touted by many to be the best in his field - even amongst those in the Martial Arts world.

Despite being part of Elio's inevitable "harem", all of them share a myriad of intimate experiences with Elio - individually, in pairs, or as a trio, often seeing the silver-haired prodigy at his lowest and, in their respective ways, helped him to become a much better version of his previous self.

For Elio, there is no 'ultimate team' since every composition of the 'mons either captured or under his care will inevitably get the job done - having trained each of them to such levels where they can easily compete with Champion-level opponents with the utmost ease. So despite their either weak presence or docile demeanor some of them give off in part to their comfortability around their master, they're quite skilled in their craft and pack a rather lethal punch when underestimated.

In terms of battle mechanics, Elio's mastered a large variety of them to the point where it ultimately wouldn't matter whichever's used against a fellow Champion, so long as it serves its purpose in the grand scheme of his myriad and interchangeable battle plans and combat tactics. He does, however, favor [Mega Evolution] and [Crystallization] due to their respective sublime appearances that often match most of his teammates' respective aesthetics and personal tastes.

Note: The Crystallization phenomenon is derived from the in-development fan game, [Pokemon Azurite] - which originates from the Kuria region's native legendary.

Uncharacteristically ̶a̶t̶ ̶l̶e̶a̶s̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶c̶u̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶s̶e̶l̶f̶, Elio would honestly have a resting bitch face throughout his time in a haunted house; Renee and the others would feel some type of boredom. In general, they would want to get it over with. The experience is incredibly lukewarm by a rather low margin, and compared to everything else the younger Argentiums have undergone - especially Elio, who's arguably had it the worst out of the nonuplets, a haunted house is... relatively mundane. If anything in that house did try to harm them, however, it would swiftly be dealt with - their experiences battling [Nightmares] in the [Dreamscape] serving them well in-advance.

Elio found himself more partial to water parks than amusement parks, so a lot of his favorite rides and activities would stuff like the <Lazy Rivers> - which helps him unwind, <Deep-End Wave Pools> - which assists in working on his core and acting as a form of resistance training: learning to stay afloat and keep a stable center of gravity admist harah watery environments, and <High-Altitude Topsy-Turvy Water Slides> - which gives him a momentary high unlike any other.

Though, during the times when he visits amusement parks - he's prone to <Ferris Wheels> (for the scenery and momentary peace), <Rollercoasters> (for the high-altitude thrills), and <Carnival Game Stands> (which tests one's physicality in some way, though Elio ends up winning in lieu of said games being rigged).

Elio's romantic life would take full swing post-graduation, so his official first date would most likely be a few days after he's officially graduated from TUA. He wants to make sure his romantic commitments doesn't interfere with his academics and other social activities, not to mention taking time to sort out his feelings and being fully confident in himself before taking the 'first step'.

Funnily yet typically enough, he would be asked out first h̶i̶s̶ ̶p̶o̶p̶u̶l̶a̶r̶i̶t̶y̶ ̶p̶u̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶d̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶w̶o̶n̶d̶e̶r̶s̶, causing him to internally spiral; it's one of the few moments he's caught off-guard, even if he plays it cool. Though come their first date, even when rationalizing it as just another 'hangout event', Elio does his best to make sure he doesn't look like an ass - extensively prepping days prior in lieu of the extensive improvement in his social skills over the past few years. On the day of, he would do his best to maintain his usual levelheadedness and 'cool factor' - though his "inner dork" would sneak out every now and again t̶h̶a̶n̶k̶f̶u̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶i̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶s̶e̶e̶n̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶h̶u̶m̶a̶n̶i̶z̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶e̶n̶d̶e̶a̶r̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶a̶c̶t̶o̶r̶ ̶-̶ ̶a̶d̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶e̶a̶l̶.

According to Elio, the methods vary with each team member - usually tailored to the situation either he or they find themselves in; sometimes, he'd set up a very strict and somewhat demanding training regiment - especially when he's in harsher environments, which he describes as "perfect mood setters", with said regiments usually formulated with the assistance of [Rowen the Metagross]. Other times, he would leave his Pokemon to their own devices to sort out whatever issue they may have - only stepping in to give them tidbits to aid in their problem-solving. Hell, he would be up for personally sparring and tutoring them if the need arises; and it doesn't even account for the daily basic exercises, routine battles, and outdoor activity required for all members to assure they stay physically fit and optimized while counteracting any given weaknesses their opponents may try to exploit.

I have friends who are proshippers, and they've helped me through some of the toughest times in my life, and seeing some of what Mitsumi went through in both the anime and manga kinda hit close to him, hence the comparison. But let me be more clear about what I said in that tweet.

If you don't know, the entire premise of Skip & Loafer is that a country girl moves to the big city to attend highschool in hopes of becoming a government official. During that time, she makes friends with certain people who're, by societal standards, quite literally her opposite (Yuzuki, Shima, Mika, etc.) and, over time, they're slowly caught up in her pace - inevitably breaking out of whatever box they or society put them in, becoming true to themselves. The greatest examples of this are Shima - who's slowly becoming more honest with himself in part to his interactions with Mitsumi, and Mika - who went from a shallow girl who wanted to be popular for validation due to the ridicule she faced in her past, thus looking down on Mitsumi due to being a "country bumpkin", to someone who could metaphorically 'let her hair down' in part to spending time with the person she once considered inferior while said person looked up to her in certain aspects.

(From this moment on, it's gonna be anime-only to prevent spoilers in the manga out of consideration)

Episode 3 is a very big moment; we see how Shima and Yuzuki come to Mitsumi's defense during the Karaoke hangout event. Yuzuki told off Mika during their confrontation, stating that she didn't like her treatment of a newcomer, additionally pointing out Mika's envy for Yuzuki - who was more attractive and mature than her; when Mika was walking home with the rest of the group after Yuzuki parted ways, he outright told Mika that she essentially needed to chill, albeit doing so in the nicest and calmest manner familiar to him. This was a starting point for Mika's personal development since she steadily opened up to Mitsumi - especially during the Girls' volleyball event in episode 5, where she saw how Mitsumi stood up for her when a third-year accidentally bumped into her and didn't apologize. Yes, the very same person she was being arrogant towards had actively defended her without a second thought. Since then, we see Mika slowly support Mitsumi in her endeavors - specifically in the potentially budding romance between her and Shima.

Now, you're asking what any of this have to do with proshipping ideology. With basic research, the entire point of proshipping is that, regardless of interest, you still treat everyone with basic human decency; love what you enjoy and enjoy what you love. You may find thinks that squick you out and you won't agree with everything. And that's okay! It's normal; you go at your own pace, because at the end of the day, you're doing it for yourself - not anyone else. Not to mention it's fictional works; you can't pin your crimes or sense of morality on a few line of words or coordinated set of pixels.

Mitsumi is the type of girl that will encourage others to pursue their passions like she's doing with her's. She's not the type of person who bullies or threatens others, actively condemns and harasses them for their interest, nor encourages one group to stay away from another. She's able to explore while realizing her limits, and through her own methods, unintentionally encourages others to detours when necessary; that's the lesson Vice President Kanechika learned at the end of episode 4 when she was running errands with Mitsumi. If she spent all that time looking ahead, she would never have been able to enjoy the scenery around her - something that's good to do every once in a while; it's that very lesson which led to her telling Mitsumi to not follow in her footsteps. Nearly every proshipper follows Mitsumi's line of thinking to varying degrees; they pursue their fictional interests, disagree with each on certain topics, and can be squicked out by certain taboo subjects. But, at the end of the day, they treat others with basic human decency because they value real lives over those of a bunch of lines and pixels. Unlike antis, they don't attack others who don't follow their line of logic, or isolate their former friends because their interests or tastes don't align said anti's. Of course, you'll always have those select few that hides behind the label to perform extremely dangerous and illegal acts - which is what you should always be wary of (ex. "MAPS"/Pedophiles disguising themselves as proshippers in very few instances), and best to block and report immediately.

In general, antis are fucking media illiterate if they think that a character that either intentionally or accidentally encourages people to expand their horizons, break certain social norms, and pursue their interests would ever agree with any they put out there.
