You know what? I hate most about this series overall, how they keep characters apart to prolong the angst without any payoff. They kept by and jinx apart for all these years and before they met again they intentionally set up all these things to ensure they stay away. But in season 2 this was glaringly obvious. They completely put echo away then mel was put away as well. What did Jace even do this season? They promptly put Victor and Jace apart and then fridged Jace for one year or however long the timescape was. Like the sisters were away most of the series they split apart Caitlin and VI, however long the time skip was. No character is allowed to be with their person for longer than a week I think which is just ridiculous. Time skip after time skip after time skip. People are saying there is another time skip between act 2 and act 3. They really should have given us more fights between violet and Jinx than violet and Caitlin and I can't believe they robbed us of a fight between Jinx and Caitlin.
they didn't know how to juggle all their characters and really i think they went too grand. Which is always the downfall of a story like this. S1 was good because it was small, a story of two cities and two sisters. now it's uhh... noxus war... arcane multi-dimensional stuff... etc. Blegh. I thought the drama of s2 would be whether or not Jinx and Vi could come to terms with each other or if they would just repeat the cycle of violence like Silco and Vander. But the story rhythm of s1 is lost... unrelated plots like whatevers going on with the blackrose stuff... retreading things with warwick.... blegh. show ended in s1, this is all just a very bad promotion for skins and other league series.
