I think neither of them can remember /how/ it started lol but as you can see they quickly got waaaay comfortable with proximity. I actually had a sketch of the start when they were drinking side by side and as they got through the bottle it started with leaning against each other, then Coeus swinging his leg on Hunter's before drunkenly slipping and half-falling in his laps, giggling stupidly while failing to get up and choosing to just lie there. It's possible Coeus said some stupid blunt drunk stuff that might have spurred Hunter to act, but tbh I think Hunter was sober enough to kind of be conscious of the fact Coeus started looking really kissable and going 'oh fuck it' before leaning in, probably because if anything he'd have a good excuse to save face if Coeus backed away.

So, long roundabout way of saying it was Hunter. Tho maybe in a way Coeus had an idea of what could happen by offering to get wasted with you know, the guy who has been holed up with him for a while and who is understably maybe feeling a little touch starved going from how much he complains about the lack of girls around despite how tough and rough he acts with him -at some point, maybe tending to rough-handle him a bit too often starts to look like excuses for physical contact, even if everything is kept hidden even when it comes to undressing him to get him to fucking bath. The sexual tension between them was LOADED lol to the point where I think when Hunter leaned in Coeus was prob wrapping his arms around his neck before his lips could even touch his, it just escalated mutually from there because how badly they craved touch/affection/release but I do think Coeus got really eager really fast.

If Coeus was low-key motivated by something else than not drinking himself into oblivion alone it was def a happy accident that 1) it went that far 2) he actually enjoyed the sex. He probably imagined just enjoying some proximity, at most maybe being held, not discovering he could actually be turned on by someone else let alone enjoy sex that is not a quick, almost annoying 'get it over with' wank the rare occasion his libido decides to pester him. Even if he admittedly did find Hunter attractive it was truly an evening full of surprises lol
