I had a good friendship with a male friend who was very much in love with me. He didn't tell as he knew I'm only attracted to girls. It didn't question my sexuality, but we shared a bit of intimacy without sex as far as a close friendship is able to provide. But I didn't want to hurt him or cause false hopes, so for our mutual sanity we had to end this as he was heartbroken and friendship cannot bear such a situation without breaking.
