We should not worry at all, instead we should implement a reasonable approach to it that yet is sabotaged by the worst enemy of mankind: stupidity. On the other hand we are the dominant species already, so from the planets perspective we only suffer minor and unimportant losses. But from a personal perspective I'm not willing to suffer or die and not willing to accept that others take the liberty to let me suffer or die.
