Do you have other projects in mind besides MC?

I do have another project in mind after MC ends, but that will take a long time.

Hey There! what was your "inspiration" to create Moonlight Castle? I'm a little curious because of how the story is developing right now

Corpse Party, Password VN, Danganronpa. They're in order from biggest inspiration to lesser. I've heard people mentioning Scooby Doo, but those were unintentional.

I like the poncho Blake wears. I wanted to know if it implies anything about Blake’s heritage in any way or is it fashion ?

Nope. I was browsing clothes and decided that one of our characters would wear it. For now the answer is just fashion, but we hold the power of retconning.

What made you start writing Moonlight Castle?

I was already a writer and reading FVNs made me go "what if we make one too?" and my friends were like "We're down for it."

Now that you have more experience making your visual novel, is there anything you wish you would have known or could have done differently at the start? (Advise to help people who are considering making their own?)

In my personal experience? Two things in particular.

1) Don't rush it out. I was excited, I'm an impulsive bastard. Your first build sets up A LOT of expectations, many won't give you a second try. Either finish your whole plot or get done most of it.

2) VNs can suck quite a lot of resources, try to reduce it as much as possible. The more you can do yourself without spending cash the better. Sprites, coding, writing are the 3 must have. Music can be royalty, BGs can be royalty, CGs are a bonus.
