The concept of them can be so fun!
Dante clearly trusts Faust a great amount and sees her as a valuable source of information. They turn to her every time they feel lost or confused no matter what it is, even when they know she can't always tell them the 100% truth. But they're willing to accept that because they value her and what she has to say so much.
And Faust does seem to know Dante so much more than they know them. How much does she know about them? Does she ponder what they'll think of her if they go back to who they were vs the kind of person they're becoming now?
I think it's also an interesting concept that neither of them knows who they are. Dante because they lost their whole identity along with their head. Faust because the Gesellschaft seems to basically run her life and didn't let her decide what kind of person she wants to be outside their collective goals, whatever that may be. They're growing and learning who they are together.
