Thoughts on Sancho/Meursault? Recently just came to realize how much parallels they have in terms of story, tbh.
I like the idea on both sides of the coin!
Before Canto VII I can see it as a classic "sunshine and stoic guy" type of thing. Where Meursault appreciated her unbridled optimism despite balancing it out with his pragmatism.
But after Canto VII, it would morph into a quieter, more mature appreciation for each other. Sancho would treat him more as the younger and less mature party, and while previously her self without these greater memories was more into reckless fun, I think that with her full mind with her, Sancho would enjoy Meursault's more subtle but still very pronounced desire for enjoyment.
