just keep practicing!
write out problems and formulas and every step to solve them.
if you want to go deeper: try to figure out the reasoning behind everything you are told. learn the basics of set theory and propositional logic. play with your calculator, you can learn a surprising amount by just pressing random buttons and seeing what happens. watch numberphile videos and see if you can follow. et cetera.
