i think snipers sexual attraction is based on a foundation of vastly uneven power dynamics. taking the autonomy of another person or creature, or having his autonomy taken from him. it's a desire grounded in feral behavior.

Hmm, haven't seen an artist sniper headcanon before, usually I see that one attributed to Scout thanks to Expiration Date. I could see Sniper doodling in isolation though, not much better to do and I could see his sexual appetite being in part fueled by anger towards people he feels outcasted by. We know he was bullied as a kid, so makes sense he'd fantasize about being the one in power for once. Or taking someone else's power away from them, maybe by restraining them or via drugs, or hell killing them first and having his way with the body. And as far as we know animals haven't rejected him, so maybe he feels safer around them and like he could actually have a chance at scoring with them. I remember ages ago hearing about how zoophilia could develop from feelings of ostracization and that sounds like Sniper alright.
Sniper wanting autonomy taken from him, meanwhile, sounds interesting. Maybe seeing it as punishment for doing so to other people and animals, wanting his victims to get revenge on him by doing the same unto him?
