When my daughters were elementary age, they made homemade crayons with all the broken nubs. There was one particular crayon color that was a grey with a slight purple tinge to it. The called it “Old Lady Munson”. ( In fact, it’s still in kitchen drawer somewhere)I have no idea why. Perhaps bc it was the color of old lady hair?
