i really want to apply and would be happy to write for any of the zines! because of that i'm not sure what to select for my samples, can you give advise? thank youuuuuuu

As for choosing samples, we want to see what you would consider your best work! We encourage Trigun pieces, but if you do not have any yet, that's okay! It also depends on which zine(s) you wish to contribute to. Send samples that would reflect what you would like to contribute!
