You are a mutant who has just arrived at the grounds of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. What is your power/What are your powers? If you know nothing about X-Men, alternative question: If you had a super power, what would it be?

Mesmerism, in the sense of willing people to do my bidding. I wouldn't want to do this in real life (consent issues!) but if I'm a character in a comic book then I'd have to be a villain, and if I'm a bad guy then I might as well be one who has fun mind-controlling pretty boys.
