What's your favorite pokemon form each gen?
I'm not really enough of a Pokemon fan to have "favorites" from each gen (started with gen 4 and fell off by gen 6). That said though, Piplup is my favorite starter, and Rowlet is a very close second, both for the original and hisui forms
Between Maya and Angi, who would hold their breath the longest while underwater?
Maya for sure. One of her most notable feats is being able to hold her breath for long periods of time. Her lungs are unreasonably strong (something she won't hesitate to use against Angi...)
Would the Goddess Sword (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword) be short and light enough for Max to swing? I mean, the Ancient Automaton's Scimitars are definitely too big for him.
He could probably lift it at the very least, but he's probably not cutting through much of anything with it, lol
Does Maya have any other outfits besides her normal attire, work clothes & swimsuit?
She does! She actually has two different "work" outfits, one meant for the office and another meant to evoke flight attendants. She also has a witch costume, PJs, and probably some others that I've forgotten about or never drew
A question about games and motion controls. Would you suffer through awkward motion controls if the game itself was actually pretty good?
I do like Nintendo games, so I guess it comes with the territory lol
I think people give motion controls a bad rap: gyro aiming is genuinely one of my favorite things about Splatoon. But then in other games like Mario Odyssey they have no reason to be there, and they do hold the game back just a bit.
How long would you say Maya's attention span is?
It depends, but she's probably a lot more focused than you'd expect. She very much operates "in the now," so while she's never been one for studying like Max, she's has a much easier time focusing on daily activities than he does (like planning trips or cooking). Max on the other hand often has so much on his mind that he often doesn't fully focus on any one thing, leading to him forgetting basic stuff (like eating)
What weapon types from TotK would your characters use?
Max would insist on using machines, and then settle for a bow instead. Maya would one-hand the two-handed weapons because why not, and then Angi would just fight by throwing anything and everything at her adversaries
What Pokémon would Max, Maya and Angi have? I'm predicting Angi's gonna have at least 1 Dark-Type.
Hmm... I'd have to think about a full team of 6, so I'll just go with what their ace would be: Rotom for Max, Primarina for Maya, and Obstagoon for Angi. A pokemon that can hack electronic machines is perfect for Max, Maya would love swimming with and learning to sing from Primarina, and Angi would enjoy having a fashionable body guard to handle people she doesn't want to talk to.
What’s your biggest achievement in a video game ever?
Hmm...
That would have to be beating every level in Celeste, including all the C-sides and Farewell. Easily the most difficult challenge in a game that I've ever overcome. Some honorable mentions include reaching Gogmazios in Monster hunter 4 Ultimate solo without getting help online, reaching X rank in Splatoon 2, and catching a shiny Beldum in Pokemon Platinum via radar chaining. But those were more just about persistence, none of them were as difficult as beating Celeste was.
So, you may already know about the Sebastian Wolff (I don't care if it's mis-spelled) vs UT Yellow team drama. Who do you think was in the right?
I actually didn't know beforehand, but the whole thing seems pretty dumb. If Toby Fox gave Undertale Yellow permission to use his music then it should've ended there.
Hey, so- suppose I gave Maya an entire pack of bubblegum, no particular reason for doing so... other than personal desires, ha. How big of a bubble should I expect from her before it goes pow? Is anything getting damaged in the process, even?
She has the lung capacity to blow up anything she wants with ease, but probably not the restraint to blow up something as frail as bubble gum without popping it pretty fast, lol
So, if Maya has an upper limit, does that mean she's gotten too big to handle it before?
depends on what your definition of "handle it" is. If you're asking if she's popped then nah, she doesn't do that. But she's absolutely had times where she ends up getting a lot bigger than intended, or times where her body ends up causing a lot of unintended collateral damage.
Has Max ever slept on top of Maya's immobile body before? How would Maya react to this? (Same for sleeping on her normal body size.)
Usually Max wouldn't do that on account of being a light sleeper (and also a little shy). But sometimes Maya will insist that he uses her lap as a pillow, or her belly as a bed. When they both wake up Maya will ask him how he slept, and she very much enjoys hearing him describe her as the softest and coziest bed he's ever slept on
Does Maya have a maximum limit for gaining weight & inflation??
Her only limit is your imagination
(and also the point where I get bored of drawing bigger, so I guess like the size of a city block probably)
PLEEEAAASE help. I don't know the most efficient way to make pears. I can't for the life of me get the legs to look good. They either look too low and small I think-
-The Spectral Mal-ass
I hesitate to call myself a pear expert, heh. Maya is pear-shaped of course, but the way she's drawn doesn't really work for most other characters. But, if it's specifically the proportions that you think are off, then I recommend taking a much closer look at the proportions of pear-shaped characters that you feel are drawn correctly to compare with, as well as real life references if realism is what you're going for. A strategy I remember doing once was drawing a diamond like shape with them (figuratively or literally), where you have one point at the peak of a characters head, one point at their feet, and then two more at the points where their hips are widest. Doing so will help you get a much clearer image of the most important traits of a pear-shaped character, and in turn a better intuition of how to draw them yourself. Pay close attention to how wide they are relative to height, how low on the body that widest point is, how it compares to the height of other important elements like the waist and shoulders and how all of these things can affect the final result.
Thanks for the question! (and also giving your name so I know what I'm working with, lol). Hopefully this helps. Unless you were talking about bottom heavy inflation rather than pear-shaped, in which case I apologize cause this won't help you there at all lol.
