Are you okay with fan art of the characters? I really enjoy the story a lot and I wanted to try to recreate a scene if that’s okay…
I really like Mugiunk’s art with your writing…I cannt believe how well they blend together. Lumi looks so cute next to Khimi and Khimi always looks like he’s just enamored or annoyed it’s such a good combination 😣🫶
Please keep writing!
I have absolutely 0 plan to quit writing… lol. In fact I write nearly every day I get the opportunity! The only thing that takes me so long is editing. I hate it 😂😂
And I agree! Muda’s artwork is perfect because it suits the characters, story, and themes perfectly. They also have taken the time to learn and understand them, and I feel they capture them in a way I cannot even put into words!
Thanks for reading! 💕
Can I download the copy, images, etc. from the web page and post it to another website (bilibili) for promotion in the case of famous authors? Because I don't see anyone with the same interests here in China?
Are you going to make physical versions of the story?
Do they have a canon race or ethnicity ? (Also, I am OBSESSED with your story, I need it injected in my veins 😘)
🥹🥹🥹🫶 I’m really happy that you’re enjoying it!
I do ask that you keep in mind everything is fantasy and a lot of the world building and lore is just from my imagination.
Lumi’s race is aslan (lion), which is a subspecies of ikati (feline), which is a type of beastkin.
Beastkin in the story are a lot more in touch with their animal instincts and are even able to communicate with their animal counterparts in various ways.
Khimi is mostly human, but it is revealed that his mother is half minos (bovine), which is a type of beastkin. Because of this, Khimi is 1/4th minos, so he has some bullish traits, but not many physical ones…maybe except for his fat cock and breeder balls. 😂😂
As far as ethnicity goes, Khimi was raised in Sidi which is based loosely on the architecture of Istanbul with minor influences from the surrounding Anatolia and some from Greece (mainly in color palette.) Khimi’s appearance is based on a specific region of Persia.
Lumi’s appearance is a bit more tan than he is often portrayed. In the book, you may see where he is described as being tan or golden skinned. Though his tribe is nomadic, he is sometimes referred to as “Lumi of Dolmas.” Dolmas is based loosely on Sumerian and Babylonian cultures with a mix of Mesoamerican and South American cultures too.
There are some influences of Egyptian culture in terms of design in certain regions, but architecturally, the Desert Cities lean much heavier on Persian styles.
But I try my best to be creative with making the story, the Faith, the characters, clothing, and smaller details that readers can enjoy.
Thank you so much! 🫶💕
If Khimi spoils Lumi too much, do you think he'd put on weight? How would they each feel about that if he did? (yes it's a kink thing)
This is such a funny question! Sorry for the late reply. Lumi is really lazy but has a fairly high metabolism and is really active in bursts. So assuming they aren’t out and about and are lazing about for a long period. I could see Lumi getting pudgy lol. I think Khimi would probably be fine with Lumi gaining weight but he’s pretty into his own physical routine and I think eventually Lumi might feel bad if he gets too out of shape.
I hope this answers your question! 🥹🥹😆
Would Lumi and Khimi ever have a child? Is there mpreg in your world?
Ahhhh, I have been delaying answer this because it’s actually a really tricky question.
While I have never imagined Mpreg in my world or my writing, I can’t lie that I often think about how Lumi and Khimi’s child would look. In fact a close friend of mine drew them a few times in the past.
That being said, ultimately, I’ve studied a lot of birth / creation myths and have always imagined other ways for them to have a kid canonically since it’s something that Khimi really wants really badly, and I think I their kid would be super cute!
i am so sorry i accidentally sent a request edit access please ignore it 😭 this is so embarrassing. but since i'm here i just wanted to let you know i accidentally came across your story and i am so excited to read it!!!
What is fated is it a comic
I can't read the story :(
How do you think Khimi and Lumi lost their virginities?
There are some spoilers in this, and the content tends towards being somewhat darker.
Khimi lost his virginity to Lumi. After he fled from his family, he spent years as a mercenary and had plenty of opportunities to have sex, but would often deny them. However, he would go to brothels sometimes and watch, or do other things to stimulate himself. Despite the fact that he was a virgin, Khimi would never allow that to show through his love-making. He tries to hold himself together and at least act experienced, despite his lack of experience himself.
One of Lumi’s last memories of his home was being beaten and taken advantage of by his brother. Ultimately, he is ashamed and feels that he disappointed in himself for not being stronger.
The first time Lumi and Khimi are together, Lumi lies about having never been with anyone, because he wants to avoid having to tell him. Eventually it does become something they address and work at together.
In a perfect world, they would have lost their virginity to one another, but it’s not a perfect work.
Are Lumi and Khimi from something else? Were they characters in a show?
Nope! They are completely original characters! They have some similarities to some ancient mythological figures! Tammuz and Ishtar for instance. Mithra, and a few others. Apollo too. Ultimately, they are both somewhat based on gods of sex and fertility too which is why there is so much nsfw content of the two of them.
The characters have been with us throughout our lives and I’ve always thought of finally writing their story! It has been something I wanted to do for a really long time.
Thank you for supporting and reading! 🤯💗
How old is Lumi when he is chosen by the Gods, and can someone only be chosen after a certain age? Is Lumi the youngest to have received this gift?
For families of those chosen, how much older would Sevrin be at this point in the story? Or would Sevrin have also stopped aging/been indirectly chosen by the Gods at the same time as Lumi, due to his blood relation?
Lumi’s age is indeterminate and decided by the reader. I leave it ambiguous so others can fill in that gap and decide how they want to view him. However, his appearance is usually teens. He quit aging during his years at the temple, which wasn’t immediate.
Age doesn’t really matter to the Gods. One of Lumi’s predecessors was younger.
Lumi isn’t the youngest to have received this gift, though he is currently the youngest of the living saints.
Sevrin was originally listed as his twin, but I changed it to older brother. (It was also adjusted in the writing. I need to change it on the site. — I did not want any other additional complexities with the soul. As some people / cultures / mythologies state that twins are split souls.)
But I will say that when Lumi was born, I had decided Sevrin would be around seven.
Sevrin is kind of a giant now in the story, he’s actually larger than Khimi. Aslan are typically a massive race with the males standing anywhere from 200-220 cm. While females are slightly shorter at around 180-190cm
However, Lumi is smaller because he’s younger, and he was also a premature child. His mother died in childbirth, and Lumi was always viewed as being weak.
There are some things I need to change on Lumi’s bio that are slightly outdated. Not much! If you have questions please feel free to ask!
How old are Lumi and Khimi in the story?
This question comes up a lot! 🫨🫨
Both characters are adults, and though I never give their exact ages. It is implied that Khimi is in his late twenties / early thirties.
Lumi is somewhat older than he looks but not by much. Being a prophet / saint / chosen / voice of the Gods, means that his aging slowed then stopped shortly after his communion with the Gods began.
Part of what progresses their adventure is Lumi being aware that he will have to watch Khimi age and die long before he expires. That their souls will never be able to find each other as things stand for them now.
I hope this helps! 💗
As I understand it, because of what he went through in his childhood Khimi grew distant from his family legacy and left home to face the challenge of life by himself. After some time Rashid found him and brought him back. But why did Khimi accept to return home and to bear the weight once he escaped from then? Did something in his mercenary years change him or is it and effect of something that happens after Rashid brings him back? Probably mentioned but can I ask at what age did he go and for how long?
In my mind, I’ve always imagined that through the years he likely began to feel worn down. Mercenary work is tireless. You’re dealing with people who would likely stab you in the back for a bit of coin. I think in the end, when he finally is confronted by Rashid in Rhaz, he felt like. “It’s time to go home.”
But he never went home and instead he tried to establish himself and fix the estate in Rhaz to make a name for himself.
The timeline is roughly Khimi fled from home at 16-17 and spent nearly a decade as a mercenary. The thing is, Khimi is actually a mother’s boy. He loved Aleyna with all of his heart, but he knows if he sees her that he may become exactly what his mother wanted all along.
At least in Rhaz he feels he has some agency over his own path, career, and destiny.
