qotd: do you ever feel obligated to stay in friendships? like, if you become friends with someone you cant break it off if youve been friends for a while. why or why not?

for me its cuz im scared of confrontation and i feel obligated to (some of) my friends cuz theyve helped me through many situations

i rarely stay in friendships i dislike unless there’s something the person has that i might need or they know a lot / too much about me

VERY MUCH SO I mostly struggle with it relationship wise ; I’m terrible at communicating & also form attachments very easily 🥲

yeah its mostly becauze i like to see the best in people and have the "i can fix them" mindset so jnless they like. abused someone or similar, then ill usually stay
