So, for any NSFW images, can it be a linked tweet under the safe/cropped original photo?
Ex: The first tweet is. “This is my piece foe Day 3 of Okaeri week, full image in comments!” This original tweet would have a sfw or cropped version of the image

Yes, we request for the first tweet to be SFW. Please tag it with #NSFW and other TW or CW as necessary.
We also recommend to mark the NSFW image in the succeeding tweet with a content warning in Twitter, as this will help people avoid content that they are not comfortable to see. Twitter's content warning feature is built-in and can be set when you're posting images.
