Aw, I'm always happy to talk about our favourite silly criminals. I'll do some individual ones!

Silver Wolf: I think she has a love-hate relationship with having more personal guardian type of figures in life. Part of her enjoys having someone who treats her like someone young might while the other part takes it as offensive that they think she needs the care. She accepts it fine most days except when she feels particularly rebellious. She plays online games with TB and loves streaming gacha rolls to mock sponsors. She secretly loves making Firefly transform for any possible reason and tries to make her do poses when she does. Her favorite activity with Blade is seeing him try new things after asking him for a hand. She wants Kafka to stop being so annoying yet still wants her to invite her to everything because she's actually ~cool~ in a way. Elio is like a very weird line of sentient code, making things up with every script he makes, and she's genuinely curious how his head looks inside.

Blade: He has a very difficult time meeting outside of scripts but he forces himself to try and accompany everyone who asks for him to join. He has a respect for Firefly and her tactical thinking but occasionally thinks he'd like her to be able to join Silver Wolf more casually and carefree. His age gives a bad habit of thinking of them as young girls and almost says it aloud often. Kafka's ability and care for him are too much sometimes, he finds it difficult to accept her gifts while knowing he will disappear without fully repaying her one day. He does accept them in the end without fail. He treats his mentorship to Silver Wolf seriously, forcing her to do things he thinks benefits her if she neglects them but trying not to be too much of a hovering figure (he fails and dads too hard). He enjoys occasionally trying to fix things in their ship home but gets difficult emotions when his hands fail him. Elio is like a very strange aeon to him sometimes, knowing too much and not saying anything more than needed.

Kafka: She loves all kinds of hobbies from trying to make art, play instruments, sew clothes, and more but she rarely commits because of fickle feelings on destiny. She sees Firefly as someone to watch over and ensure she can find what she wants but part of her still sees a girl fresh from pod and uncertain (I hc her and Elio as finding her for now). Silver Wolf is entirely too fun not to tease and she's full of interesting things that Kafka tries to pry out of her by invading space and time. Blade has won his way into her life like no one before and she has trouble reconciling this with their current efforts and her own views of herself. Elio is like a best friend, I want to imagine it's them in his office chatting away over plots and hopes sometimes.

Firefly: Not much I can say since we're learning more about her but I think she's genetically designed for combat and it really messes with her sense of relaxation sometimes. She probably has to be in the Sam suit most times to live but I think she can occasionally breathe out of it for her own good. She respects all her comrades for what she lacks but I can see her trying to join them all in different ways to bond. Blade gets training and even silver wolf gets scolded for how they fight because she's just wired different on how battles should properly be fought. Kafka gets her time in figuring out tactics and even discussions on how to act in situations for tact. Silver Wolf mainly gets gaming time and she even manages to hook up the Sam visor to display it (I'm delusional). Elio is just very accepting and forgiving of odd moments of self doubt and her desire for life outside of her painful future. She wants them all to go somewhere together and have fun like in Penacony one day.

It's not weird at all, I understand the concern. I occasional wonder how much care is too much when writing as well but I also recognize that just because a person often cares for the other often doesn't mean that becomes their role like you're worried about. Kafka can be written as caring and babying Blade but there will be plenty of times where she'll be a little shit and cause him problems for fun. Blade can also be just as mothering during rare moments where he feels capable of it, mothering isn't something that just a woman can be. I think you should write it, it sounds like it could be sweet. Just be aware that there are facets to being a caring person and that it's not always just being sweet.

Honestly I see them as both very professional as the most part, the two of them are in similar strange positions of life and death hanging for them. And I honestly believe the Firefly is Sam thing, her words of illness and being trapped seem like they could describe being in a giant metal suit. The only thing I need to know though is if Sam has AI or if it's all her if so. If so, how much do the SH know? Are they completely aware or just Elio? Blade would obviously be surprised if just told that this girl is Sam who constantly destroys the battlefield around them... but I bet he would praise her work too. He must know it's difficult to fight so viciously and what she must go through to be so strong. Though I think he would have a bit more awkward time talking to Firefly versus Sam, LOL, he might have habits from Silver Wolf and try to talk to her similarly.
